How to watch TPL Wodonga & TPL 2 Announced

In exciting news, the Tenpin Premier League (TPL) has revealed details on the next TPL event and how to watch all the action from TPL 1, the Wodonga Classic, this weekend.

Following the launch announcement of the bookend events of the inaugural TPL season with TPL 1 , the Wodonga Classic and the final event at Melbourne’s Wyncity Keon Park, the TPL has unveiled the host of TPL 2.

TPL 2, Suncity Showdown, is set to take the stage at the home of the 2022 International Bowling Federation (IBF) World Cup – the  Suncity Tenpin Bowl on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast from the 8-9 October 2022.

Currently acting as Tenpin Bowling Australia’s (TBA) High Performance and Community Centre, Suncity Tenpin Bowl will host Australia’s best Tenpin bowlers for the second TPL event of the 2022 season.

With many TPL stars in contention to represent Australia at the World Cup in November, the second TPL event will be the perfect stage for bowlers to put forward their case for selection.

“We are thrilled to announce Suncity Tenpin Bowl as the host of TPL 2 to take place in October,” said TBA Chief Executive Officer Rohan O’Neill.

“This is a fantastic and unique opportunity to showcase the TPL and see how the stars perform at the home of the upcoming IBF World Cup in a highly competitive format.

“With limited spots available to represent Australia at the World Cup, TPL 2 will be a sensational event with plenty on the line as bowlers contend for a green and gold jersey,” added O’Neill.

As 32 of the country’s best Tenpin bowlers converge on 3D Lanes in Wodonga for the inaugural TPL event this weekend, details on how to watch all the TPL 1 action have been revealed.

Locals can see all the action first hand by purchasing tickets HERE, but those who can’t be here in person can follow the Final-8 action LIVE on the @tenpinpl Facebook Page and TPL YouTube account.

Global audiences can follow the action on Unbeaten, Sky Sport NZ and Star Sports.

In further exciting news, in partnership with the world’s largest sports broadcaster ESPN, Australia and New Zealand will receive a produced recap show in the week following the TPL event. The magazine-like one-hour show will help catch fans up on what happened if they missed the live-action.

“Creating a unique entertainment product for the sport that can turn global is crucial to the long-term strategy we are building for the TPL,” explained Rohan O’Neill.

“We have organised an easy way for all Australians to watch live TPL action and negotiated with several international broadcasters to help spread the awareness of the TPL on a global scale.

“This is the start of a long-term product, and we are proud of the platforms that will help showcase the inaugural TPL season,” O’Neill added.
